Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

The best part of Thanksgiving this year was going to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. This was our fist time going and it will not be our last. The parade was fantastic! Okay there a are ton of photos in this post. The parade was over two hours long and we documented every bit of it.

The people guiding the balloons uniform matched the balloon they were with.

The original cast of Sesame Street made a stop. I love Elmo's face in the picture.

If you look in the top left corner Jimmy Fallon is rocking out.

Lyndon's favorite was Pikachu.

A Tennessee marching band from Father Ryan was there. Us three sisters were beaming with southern pride.

Whoopi Goldberg was the pirate queen.

This group was really funny. They are called the Briefcase Brigade. Lyndon will be joining them in a couple of years.

Manheim Steam Roller

Kareem Abdul Jabbar

I think Cosette's favorite part was eating cheese puffs with this little girl.

The most excited I got during the parade was when we saw the US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team! So exciting! USA! USA! USA!

Don Mclean was there.

Flo Rida. Some of the people in our group who did not know who he was called him Florida like the state, haha. I guess I should not laugh. If it were not for my brother I might not know who he is either.

The parade was fantastic! Thank you Lyndon for getting there so early and meetin up with our friends to get good seats. Since Santa has brought in Christmas I can officially say Merry Christmas!
