Easter Weekend

We had a busy fun filled Easter weekend. What a beautiful weekend it was! Cosette got to experience several firsts this weekend. She dyed Easter eggs for the first time with her best friends. She would pick up the eggs from the dye cups and put them into a different cup. Her eggs turned out all sorts of colors, and her hands too.

A friend from church organized an Easter egg hunt for the kids in our church in Central Park. It was Cosette's first big Easter egg hunt. She would pick up each egg shake it to hear if anything was inside before she put it in her basket.

She spread her loot around in her corner.

We did Easter baskets after church this year. Lyndon hid Cosette's and turned it into a treasure hunt. She had a good time finding it.

Easter is a wonderful holiday not just because of the yummy candy, beautiful colors, and the coming of spring, but of our Savior Jesus Christ. He is risen and now we can have hope. Here is a video from our church about this joyous news that our Savior lives.

Happy Easter (yesterday)!
