What a lovely weekend!

Wasn't it a beautiful weekend? We really enjoyed the beautiful weather that we had and took advantage of it as much as possible. We spent a lot of time walking around the city. I know I walked about seven miles one day. My feet are still a little bit sore. It was so worth it though.

We had the worst week. All of us were sick and it was miserable for a few days around here. Mommas and Pappas do not get sick days, which is so sad. Thankfully we were all healed by the weekend and ready to play. And play we did.

The stroller races!

She took Memi all around the MET in her stroller.

Cosette enjoyed a Sprinkles mini strawberry cupcake. And she fell asleep curled up in stroller, dead to the world after playing at the park.

We got a chance to sneak in a date this weekend. We went to Eataly and enjoyed the most delicious roasted veggie sandwhiches on the most delicious foccacia bread ever! I want some more of that summer squash foccacia bread. It was delicious! The weather was too good to eat inside so we enjoyed a picinic in Madison Square. It was lovely.

Madison Square always has interesting art exhibits going on. Look, a wall made of blue yarn.

Mmmmm...gelato!

We went to see a show, down in the village at the Rattlestick theatre. Micheal Urie did a one man show about a guy who worked for Barbra Streisand in her storage-room mall. You should look it up and go see it to really understand. So funny! We laughed and laughed and have since watched some Barbra Streisand films and are kind of becoming a little obsessed with her (but not really). That picture of the Waverly Place street sign was taken for Hannah and Ethan. (Shout out to Disney fans!)

Fresh handmade pasta!

Two gelatos are better than one. I was a little adventurous and tried a banana chocoalte sorbet. Sometimes adventures are not so fun. Lyndon was sweet and let me try some of his mint chocoalte chip. It was better than mine.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend too!
