Views of Boston from the Custom House Tower

Last post about Boston, I promise! It was a great trip (minus the tragic events at the Marathon) with so many places to take photos.

The last thing about Boston I want to share is the opportunity we got to go up to the top of the Custom House Tower. We heard there was a small museum in part of the Tower and watned to check it out. When we got inside we found out we could go to the top of the tower! From the top we got to see some pretty fantastics views of the city. Random fact about the tower: peregrine falcons have been nesting on top of the tower and some times you can see them flying around.

Close up of some sail boats for the husband. He loves to go sailing.

Fanueil Hall

That white tower to the left of my head is the Old North Church where Paul Revere rode to tell everyone that the British were coming.

Cosette keep running around and around the tower.

Our tour guide was kind enough to tell us that we could see the clock pendulum in the rec room, the Custom House Tower is now a Marriot Hotel.

We will have to visit Boston again and next time bring Lyndon with us.
