Plothow Visit Day 1 & 2

Part of Lyndon's family came to visit us over Labor Day weekend. Boy, did we have a blast! Only his Dad has been to the city before so we played tour guide the entire weekend. I think we showed them and did just about everything you could have done for the amount of time they were here. Our feet were pretty sore at the end of each day so I think that shows we did a lot of walking and saw a lot of things.

Their fist day here we stayed close to home. We met up down by the Natural History Museum and had a bite at the Shake Shack. We created some new Shake Shack fans. Then we headed to the Natural History Museum. We spent about fours hours there and still did not see a couple of floors. The place is massive.

In front of the elephants in the African Mammal room.

Outside the Natural History Museum with Teddy Roosevelt.

That night we headed down to Times Square. You have to see it at night. The lights are spectacular.

Day two we had breakfast at Tiffany's. It was more brunch at the Plaza because there is a nice fountain in front of the Plaza with benches. We grabbed some goodies at our favorite French bakery, La Toulousaine, and headed over to 5th Ave.

We stopped off at Columbus Circle and walked across the south side of Central Park.

Cosette took up really well with Granpa.

They were best buds the whole trip.

Minion at Fao Schwartz. We spent a lot of time there. We really enjoy that store. We found the BIG PIANO. So fun! Hannah, Lyndon, and Cosette tapped out beats on it for a while.

5th Ave.

One of my favorite places on earth. I could stay in there forever. What can I say, diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Rockerfella Plaza.

At Carnegie Deli. We love giant food.

Hannah is a beast. She ate that sandwich like a corn on the cob.

Our last stop of the day was the MOMA. We found the LOVE statue on the way over. I have been wanting to find where it was located.

At the MOMA we spent our time looking at the impressionist art. Lyndon's Mom is a fantastic and loves the impressionist. We got to see Van Gogh's Starry Night. That was a high light of the trip for everyone I think.

Husband climbed inside the "E".

Cosette enjoyed having all the extra people around because that means extra attention. She keeps asking for more family. I guess that is good our family is getting a new member. Anytime now baby boy, anytime.
