Boo at the Zoo

We finished off the Halloween holiday by going to Boo at the Zoo up at the Bronx Zoo. The Zoo was decorated and there were all sorts of different Halloween activities, even trick or treating. We went with some friends and enjoyed the absolutly stunning fall day.

Here is the spookiest creature we encountered while there. Just kidding. We love Daddy.

Waiting for the creatures of magic show to start. I still have the song stuck in my head. Creatures of magic....la-de-da-de-da.

Cosette found some tree stars.

They may not look big, but these monekys were huge. Cosette could have ridden one like a horse. They were not as big as a horse those, just a saint bernard.

Enjoying our time with friends. Cosette put her arm around Lev. My heart melted.

I spy a giant spider among the tress.

No elephant grave yard, but there was a "grave yard" for all the extinct animals.

The big cats were out and prowling around. There were several tigers that came up close. It was pretty thrilling.

The snow leopard and her cub were out too! That was super exciting because this is the first time in all of our zoo trips we have seen the snow leopard. It was the high light for me.

Look at those leaves. This is why I love fall.

We found another corn maze. Sadly, it was a corn maze for ants! Cosette could even see over the hay bales.

In the stinky hay bale maze. So disappointed.

Next year we will Cosette to wear her costume and go before Halloween (my stinkin illness threw everything off).
