Trick or Treating

Holidays are the best in the city, in my opinion. The city decorates in what ever holiday it is and it always feel so festive. Halloween is no different. Jack o' laterns every where, the changing leaves. It is wonderful! A lot of people ask us where and if we can even go trick or treating. The answer is yes we go trick or treating and there are plenty of places to go. Certain neighborhoods are open up for trick or treaters, the shops on Broadway have candy they pass out, apartment buildings have trick or treating inside them (you get a list from the doorman of the participating apartments and go to town), and parks/playgrounds have fun Halloween activities for all who want to come. It is a party! We had a friend take make a video of us trick or treating last year. You can check it out here

This year Cosette was a yellow horse. Horses are her favorite and yellow is her favorite color. My Momma helped me make her costume again this year. She was so stinkin adorable in her costume. She was excited to be a yellow horse. She wanted to run fast like a horse and run fast she did.

First treat of the night.

We love trick or treating on 95th Street. The brownstones are all decked out in Halloween decorations. It almost feels like you are in a suburban neighborhood.
