More About Andorra

This post contains the last photos from our Andorra trip. The principality is so beautiful and it was warmer than Paris (at least when we first got there). It was hard not to enjoy ourselves and take a lot of pictures.

I loved the Pyrenees. The mountains were beautiful and we were right in the middle of them.
Like I said, right in the middle of them. Being on top of the Pyrenees is like being on top of the world. I felt like we were in the Frozen movie a little bit. There was so much snow!

The city we were in staying in was called Sant Julia de Loria and is home to Naturlandia! Naturalandia is an adventure park with a small zoo. That is what we went for. We are not winter sport people just because we do not live in a frozen tundra. Cosette enjoyed walking on the snow better than looking at the animals. If you cannot tell from this photo she is an animal lover.

There are a lot of old Romanesque churches scattered all around the principality. We, especially Lyndon, enjoyed seeing all the different ones. The Romanesque architecture is what Andorra is built in. It is very beautiful. This is one architectural style that I was not very familiar with, but I am now very fond of.

We took one afternoon and drove around Andorra. Very easy to do since it is such a small country. We drove up into the mountains as far as we could. There was one road we took that was closed because of all the snow and possibilities of avalanches.

Love those snowy Pyrenees!

Our yellow rental car.

Husband doing his power pose.

Lyndon giving Cosette a lesson in how to skip rocks on water.

The photo on the left is of Henry sitting in a high chair for the first time. He did not spend to much time in it because I was kind of freaking out because I thought he might fall out. There were not straps to buckle him in. On the right we found Cosette's store: COCO.

Baby boy's sweet little face. He is growing up to quickly!
We took a ski lift up to one of the ski resorts. We do not know how to ski, which is a shame being in Andorra. The snow is perfect for skiing. It is nice and powdery. Plus, we were not prepared to ski. Fail on our packing. It was fun being on top to the Pyrenees. I am kind of motivated to learn how to ski.

So long Andorra! Thanks for the great memories.
xoxo
