The London Eye

The London Eye was on our agenda for this trip. It is another new thing that we have not done on our visits to London. We thought Cosette would enjoy the ride up to the top of the world in London. Just an FYI if you ever want to go on the Eye, your tickets have a specific time that you can go on it. We made the mistake of just showing up and ended up having to go back. Totally worth it though! The view you get of this city is spectacular. We give it a Plothow two thumbs up.
The park where the Eye is located was having an Easter Bunny scavenger hunt. There were different colored bunnies painted on the sidewalks around the area and you had to go around and find them. This is the purple one, and I say that so you do not mistake it for blue because we could not find the blue one for the longest time until...
..we started going up on the Eye. The sly rabbit was hiding on top of a building!
Ready to see all of London!

A view of St. Paul's Cathedral. It is one of our favorites. We did not have a chance to go visit it so we were glad to see it from afar.
See that bridge with the row of buses? I love those red buses over here.

Happy Henry and mommy shot.

The best family photo we were able to get with and Big Ben and Parliament in the background!
My favorite view of the day!
Our National Express bus that we took from Cambridge to London always went down that street by the Thames. I remember passing by that gold statue of the eagle.
There were all sorts of street performers along the Thames and a carousel! Cosette and I hopped on for our first carousel ride in England! This was a happy happy day. Spirits were high and, if you can believe it, the sun was shining on beautiful London town. We have missed this place oh so much!
