My Little Ballerina

Cosette started ballet a couple of weeks ago. Yay, for good deals on Groupon. She is doing it with AS Ballet and so far so good. She started getting excited about it pretty much from the moment that I told her she was going to do ballet. Her exact words when I told her she was going to ballet was "Like Angelina" (Angelina Ballerina, one of our favorite series). Her class is only four girls and they are taught by a few different teachers. I mean it is the 3-4 year old class so you don't have to be a pro. It is really fun to watch them dance around. Well, run around and kind of do some dance moves. They have a specific dress code, so white leotard, light pink tights, and they have to wear a hair net same color as their hair. The hair net kind of got me, but I never did hard core ballet. It seems like all the ballet groups in the city are pretty intense, but with Juilliard down the street what do you expect. And once they are done stretching they get to put on their little white fluffy skirts. It is little girl heaven.

The little ballerinas.
Henry and I just hang out while Cosette dances. He really wants to get go into the studio and run around. And sometimes before class starts he gets to.
These girls! Their teacher has their hands full.

It's been a good experience so far. We will see how she likes it at the end of her lessons. But for now, let's dance!
