2011 Babies in 2015

When we moved to New York with our little baby Coco way back in 2011 we were surprised and happy that there were 14 other babies her age in our church's congregation. It was really good for me to have so many other women who had new babies just like me even if it was not their first. I made a lot of friends that way and learned a lot about motherhood and city living. Without these women and their knowledge our move to the city would have been a lot harder. I was excited for all these babies to get older because Cosette was going to have so many friends. That has come to pass for sure! There are three-year olds galore! No shortage of friends for this little girl.

Every year we have gotten all the 2011 babies together for a photo. It is so fun to see how much these kiddos have changed every year. There were a few who refused to sit, so there was even more than this lot (and there are nine kids in this photo!). This year was the first year that is was not a major challenge to get the kids to sit for the photo. The first year we did it we had to make sure that no babies were falling over, haha. The next year we could not keep them sitting still long enough. They were too busy. Last year we missed it because of Paris, boo. Glad we were here to continue the tradition. I love all these kids! We spend so much time with them, church, pre-school, playgroups, outings. They are a great, very active group of kids. Love them so much.
The five kids left from the original photo. Hopefully no one else from the group move away. We would miss you too much.

2012 and 2013 photo here.
