Life Before Baby

It was really busy. After we got home from Tennessee there was only a month before my due date. The clock was ticking. I knew after I had Raphael we would have to stay closer to home and take it easy. So we packed in as many summer activities as we could before our little guy got here. Glad we did all that we were able to do because surprise Raphael came two weeks early! Above Cosette is going down the best slide in the city at Teardrop playground.
We witnessed the Manhattanhenge that happens biannually. We saw the sunset right on the street grid.

Played at a refurbished playground in our neighborhood. It has become a favorite.
Mr. Henry's Penguins at the Central Park Zoo.
I spy a Cocobean.
The sea lion show never gets old.
Cosette giving Henry some lovin.
Sprinkles ice cream shop because it has been so hot you don't want to eat anything else. Cupcake icecream sundae, yes please!
Henry and Cosette both got to be inside a giant bubble one day on our way home.
Cosette practicing her swimming skills at the lake.
Really proud of her for swimming on her own with the life jacket.

We were invited to a friend's lake house one weekend, and it was a blast! Swimming, bar-b-q, boating, games and pinata for the kids, babysitters for the kids so the parents could relax. It was the best party ever!
My boys sporting a nautical theme.

He climbed up the ladder and said "tada!".

Learning what it's like to be a sand fox at members night at the Bronx Zoo.
He is my big boy now, and in this picture he looks it.
Henry with his new best friend.
Girls night out to celebrate baby and my birthday at Serendipity. I finally got to try the frozen hot chocolate I've heard so much about. We went out just in the nick of time because Raphael was born the next day.
Washington Square Park to play in the fountain.
She looks like she is in her happy place.
Her "Ariel" pose.
This is how he works out.
I'm glad summer is not over and we can squeeze in a few more things on our summer bucket list (hopefully).
xoxo
