Pumpkin Patch Take 1

Image
We made it to several pumpkin patches this year. I think three or four. I have lost count. The first one we went to was the Fruit and Berry Patch in Tennessee. It's such a nice little place with all sorts of fresh produce and this time of year pumpkins!!! They had all the kind of pumpkin. we brought home three, plus the two small pumpkins that came with the tractor ride for the kids. We brought home a Cinderellaa pumpkin, a white pumpkin, and a bumpy one. I was so excited! I had never been to place with so many varieties and sizes. It was awesome. Lyndon is the best, because he jumped off the tractor to get a white pumpkin for me. Ah, I love that man. He would not have gotten it any other way, he likes to live on the edge, literally. He almost fell off the edge of the tractor when he jumped back on. I love him, insert smile face with heart eyes emoji.   We rode a tractor out to the pumpkin patch. Henry was in heaven riding the tractor. After the ride was over we l

Boo at the Zoo

While in Tennessee we made it to the opening night to the Knoxville Zoo's Boo at the Zoo. Since we are going to be in Singapore for Halloween, I want to make sure the kids get in as many Halloween/fall activities we can squeeze in. I did not have their costumes ready, so the whole family including Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle David dressed up in traditional Japanese clothes that my parents have stashed in their closet from their time in Japan. Cosette is wearing one that was meant for me when I was little. Henry is wearing one that has a twin set that was given to my parents for me and my sister Ellen when we were little. I am wearing my yukata that was given to me by our Japanese fiends when I was younger, I wanna say eight. It's the first time I have worn it since it was given to me all those years ago. Lyndon is wearing one of my Dad's yukatas. It was great. I cannot remember if Raphael was wearing any Japanese garb because he was asleep the whole time in the carrier.

Family Photos 2015

He is the boy with the most handsome smile!                                    Another year, another baby, another family photo shoot. We took these in Central Park's Conservatory Garden. It's one of my favorite places in the park. It is like own our secret garden that we share with millions of people, but some how this place is never crowded. My friend took these pictures and I'm in love with them. We needed to document Raphael's joining our family and I wanted one last family photo shoot in NYC before we left for Singapore. I love this city, and these people.
