Everything is Awesome!: Legoland Malaysia

As I have mentioned before, Lyndon has been way into Legos. They are his hobby he does when he gets downtime. He has shared his love of Legos with the rest of us involving the children in his projects, and helping them with their Lego projects. And I am involved because I love him, and I am also buying all the Legos for the projects, haha. I get sent on some Lego errands every now and then.

Lego Land Malaysia happens to be just across the border from Singapore. We got tickets and took the bus to Lego Land! The bus was actually great. We did have to alight a couple of times to go through customs, and since it is Chinese New Year this week it was a little bit more crowded. When we were going through Malaysia customs they allowed us to go through the side that was designated for Malaysian citizens. We literally hopped the fence/gate over into Malaysia because there was no way we could fight our way back through the lines to get in on the Malaysian citizens' side. While they were handling our passports Henry ran past the check point and I asked Lyndon, "did Henry just run into Malaysia?" as Lyndon was running after him. It was a bit hectic, but a lot easier than getting through security at Heathrow airport. Then we hopped back on the bus and the next stop was Lego Land. It was really easy to get to. The kids were great on the bus. We had packed snacks and our kindle fire so everything was awesome!

Legoland was Awesome! It was not crowded at all. We never had to wait in line. Every single ride we went on we went on twice in a row. It was the perfect amusement park day. The only downside is that Henry was not tall enough to go on most of the rides. However, Legoland made up for it by having awesome playgrounds dotted through out each section of the park. He did not feel left out at all.
Miniatureland was a favorite. Here we are standing in front of a minature Singapore. Lyndon's office building was even there. There were miniatures from areas across South East Asia. It was incredible to see these miniatures, and they were so beautiful. Henry and Lyndon loved it. They were examining them and now Lyndon has a lot more ideas about his Lego projects.

Taj Mahal, India. It's at the top of my buckt list. I cannot wait to go,
Karaweik Hall located in Mayanmar.
Forbidden Palace and behind it the Great Wall of China.
Wat Arun a Buddhist temple in Thailand.

Bali, Indonesia.

The royal mosque located in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. The real mosque's dome is covered in gold. Adding it to the list of places to visit.

Patuxai, Laos

Angkor Wat, Cambodia
Pirates!
There were Lego stations all around the park. Thumbs up to Lego for this idea.
Adventure land!

Rescue Academny was Henry's favorite ride. Up to four people on a police truck or fire engine. Two drive while two pump the truck to the other side. Once to the other side two people pump the water while two others put out the fire. Henry was really into it.

Year of the monkey Lego figures.
Henry climbed up on this Lego figure and tried to sit on his lap, which was hilarious because it was not meant for anyone to sit on, so Henry sat on his arms instead.

Knight training.

Cosette and Daddy on the big dragon roller coaster. Cosette is the bravest four year old I know and wanted to go on every roller coaster. I was a bit nervous for her on the first one we went on because well its a roller coaster and she's four. She was laughing and yelling this is fun the whole time on the first one. Then she asked to go again. Then asked to go on the bigger roller coaster. She even put her hands up in the air. She likes to go fast. Cosette wants all her friends and family to come visit so we can all go to Legoland together.

Star Wars miniland. There were major scenes from all the star wars movies.

It was really fun. Cosette sang the line "everything is awesome" over and over again on the way home. Lyndon said it is one of the highlights of his life and makes all the long hours he works worth it.
