Saturday Morning at the Splash Pad

A miracle happened on Saturday. We woke up and Lyndon had no emails from work. He was free! He's been working pretty much this entire month and it was amazing to have him home. We have missed him that's for sure.

We have been picking a goal each month to work on. Last month Lyndon's was fitness, but it got put on the back burner because of work. It is his focus again this month. Since fitness is April's focus for him, we loaded up the kids in the stroller and went for a family run/scooter through to Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. Our destination was the splash pad, which is only open Thursday-Sunday from 8-11am and 4-8pm. After our run it was heavenly splashing around in the water. It is so hot here, we were completely soaked before we even got to the splash pad. We are going to try to make running to the splash pad a Saturday tradition.

One of Lyndon's co-workers was teasing him about playing with the kids and hanging out with us. The truth is real men play with their kids and spend time with their families.

We love our Daddy!

I told Henry to say "I am king of the rock!". But instead he said, "Daddy! Get me down!".

Trying to see if there beach ball would make it down the water fall.
Bishan Ang Mo Kio Park is very similar to Central Park. Central Park is not gaudy, it is very natural. Of course amazing things like Bethesda Fountain, and the MET are in it, but over all it is just a lovely natural green space. We spent so much time at Central Park it is so nice to live closeish to this park. It's our new "back yard".
