E&E's Trip to SG

We have been hotel Plothow the past month. My sister surprised us with a visit and shortly after that we found out that Lyndon's mom and his brother, Edward, were coming to spend a few days with us too! We were happy because we love visitors! The kids were excited to have Grandma Emily and Uncle Edward come. More people for them to command and do their bidding, haha. I enjoy it because we go out and do a few more things that I would not do on my own with the kids because not worth it with three kiddos sometimes. We played tour guide and tourist with them. They did great with the jet lag. They were up at dawn, but that might have something to do with Henry waking up and jumping around the living room. It was a trip of miracles because Lyndon was not super busy at work and was able to spend a lot of time with them. The past couple of weekends before that he was working all weekend and getting home at midnight every night. And the weather was really nice for SG. It was hot, but not as hot as it has been.

Shopping at the sights on Arab Street. It's hard to beat the Sultan Mosque, especially when they are saying the prayers over a loud speaker. Such a unique experience. And falafels are heavenly,
Gardens by the Bay's flower dome and cloud forest.
Raphael loves Grandma!

Couldn't resist taking a picture with a golden Buddha we found.
I took them around Chinatown. Here we are at the Sri Maramiman Hindu Temple. It's the oldest one in Singapore. We had to take off our shoes before we could enter. It was so cool.

Lyndon took them around a couple of nights and showed them Little India, and downtown Singapore.

We took them to have a traditional Singaporean meal of chicken rice at our neighborhood hawker center. Can't have a real Singapore experience with out trying some chicken rice.
One of my friends was kind enough to do a food tour for us and tell us about all the local food. Really, really fun.

And we went swimming everyday! We still love our eternal summer weather here.

We were sad to see them go, but so happy they came.
