Daddy's Day Out

Lyndon took the week of Thanksgiving off, which was a good/bad thing as we all got the stomach flu. The one day before we all got sick we spent checking out the S.E.A. Aquarium on Sentosa. We had not been there yet, and they had a Pokemon Research Center there, so that was a no brainer. Anybody else's kids obsessed with Pokemon? That was the highlight of the day for Lyndon, Cosette, and Henry. We got to pick a Pokeball and go to different stations that gave us clues about our Pokemon and we had to try and guess what it was. At the end it tells you what you have. I know I had a Clafairy, and I can't remember anyone else's. And then we got to meet Pikachu! It was adorable and the kids were excited.

His little noodle belly poking over the table.
I choose you Pikachu!

Finding out what was inside our Pokeballs.

Henry's Pokemon.

And I was totally wrong about mine. I had a Wigglytuff.

The Aquarium was pretty cool. Surprisingly more crowded than I thought it would be. The best part was walking in the tunnel through the shark tank. Henry got so excited every time he saw a Hammerhead. Some outings you spend hours and hours somewhere. This one was more running from exhibit to exhibit running after the kids. So I think we will have to go again sometime to get a better experience.

Merry Fish-mas!

We ended the day at VivoCity. It's one of Lyndon's favorite malls on the island. It has a really cool kids area. Trampolines, electric pony and car rides, splash pad, epic slides. We played there for a long time. Raphael loved going down the really steep slide.

Lucky we packed that one day in with a lot of stuff because the week would have been seriously wasted if we did not get something in before we all got sick.

And a small video of some snippets of the day.
