All Smiles

Grandma Emily came to visit us before Christmas! We had a wonderful visit with her. She got to see all our favorite neighborhood spots, and to some of our other favorite spots in the city, and to see the Christmas decorations! NYC is at it's best dressed during the Christmas holiday. I am a broken record when it comes to NYC and Christmas, but I love it so much. It makes me so happy when we get to share it with our loved ones.

Our first stop was the MET. Grandmas is an artist and got to see some of her favorites. My favorite thing we showed her was the magnificent painting of Washington crossing the Delaware. And the Egyptian temple. And the MET Christmas Tree. We went, we saw, and we covered some ground (because the place is huge) of the MET.

Can't get over Rapha and Grandma doing the "Thinker" pose together.

This tree is incredible.

With Henry VIII armor. He was a big guy.

Magnificent! Absolutely magnificent.

Only took Grandma to the best spots, that includes Patsy's Pizza. We could not wait to get a good pic of it. Dove in as soon as it arrived.

Showing Grandma how we ride the subway.

I love this photo of these three. She got to spend a lot of time with them. It makes me so happy they have family that loves them.

Granddaughter and Grandmother. A million hearts.

Lyndon has to take everyone to the LEGO Store. He has to show off his happy place. And this giant Gandalf reminds me the alarm clock in Boss Baby, haha. "Good morning little half-ling". Any Gandalf figure reminds me of it now, haha.

AMNH origami Christmas Tree is my favorite. Glad we got to show it to her. And Rapha's smile. It sums up how our trip with Grandma was, all smiles.
