Summer Part 2: New York!

We made it back to NYC with a few summer weeks left. We spent our time catching up with friends, lots of playground, pizza eating, ice cream eating, reading, and zoo visits. It is hard to say what our favorite thing was, but pretty much every day was a good day. We got a few more things checked off our summer bucket list.

We do a weekly pizza night at the playground with friends. It is so much fun, and the pizza is the best!

We had lunch at Daddy's office once. The view is spectacular.

This guy, melts my heart on a daily basis.
Visited Orwashers. We missed this place.

Builders workshop at the library.

Central Park Zoo Sea Lion show! Cosette took this picture. She is getting some good photography skills.

Rapha with his hand stuck inside a Polar Bear's mouth. ahhh!

The gang reunited again.

Summer nights and Daddy getting home early, are the best nights for sure.

Someone learned to ride a bike! I am so proud of her. She figured it out in one night.
Still having to run errands.

Dressed to match her surroundings.

Love bugs.
Live taping of Studio C in NYC. We got a lot of date nights in. It was wonderful spending time together, after a month apart.

We made it the beach for an afternoon. We just went to Coney Island, because its the easiest to get to. We had a good time. It was nice and cool down by the beach.Henry was living his best life playing in the water and scaring me half to death with how far out he would go.  The craziest part was we saw a shark! It was a little one, but we saw one in the water! Someone was telling me the day before there was a big shark swimming around where we were, and nobody was swimming.

Enjoying out loot from our library's book sale.
As my friend called it, fill a train car Friday. We had four moms, and ten kids.
I love all our friends we have made here. We have a wonderful city family.

A lot of work goes into going on all our outings, even to the playground down the street. It is all worth it once we get to our destination, and to see them being kind to each other, playing happily with their friends, and developing a love of this incredible city we live in. And especially, when I catch moments like this. These tender moments are fleeting, but knowing it happens makes me smile the rest of the day.
