Spring Break Adventure

Columbia's spring break was last week so we took the opportunity to see the beautiful city of Philadelphia. We met up with a couple of friends and one of our professors from BYU and had a great day.

The Megabus dropped us off right in front of Independence Hall.

Cosette enjoyed our tour of independence hall.

Family photo at Independence Hall.

Me and Cosette in the room where the Constitution was signed!
I took a class on the constitution at BYU. It was really interesteing because all we did was read documents and discuss if the constitution was based on ideas or interests. So what do you think: ideas or interests?

Me and my homeboy James Madison. I am a James Madison fan. He is definitely an ideas man at the Constitutional Convention.

Lyndon and George Washington.

The democratic process worked and elected Cosette as the next President of the United States.

Our beautiful baby. She was wonderful the whole trip.

Coco and Daddy enjoying history!

Philadelphia was awesome! The city is absolutly stunning. I have not been to a city more beautiful (except for Paris). Some of the other sites we saw were the Liberty Bell, Scottish and Irish immigrant statues, unmarked grave, Besty Ross's house, UPenn, the art history museum with the Rocky statue, etc. Our Professor studied at UPenn and he gave us the most fantastic tour. UPenn has a beautiful campus. The library is this giant beautiful gothic building where the Adams Family movie was filmed. I love UPenn's architecture. John Huntsman Sr. donated the money for the wharton (business) school's building. Incredible building. It is meant to look like an office building. After that visit and visits to other ivy league campuses I have decided that Cosette has to go to an ivy league school. The campuses I have visted are all stunning and they have the college system which I prefer. So all of those who live close to Phily it is definitely worth going and visiting for a day.
