Our Everyday February

Posting all the photos that did not make it into their own post, but that I still want to share so I can remember these warm February days. I won't be able to say that much longer. We got news that we will be moving back to the States (NYC) at the end of June. I am going to soak up all these warm days and enjoy our island in the beautiful sunshine, with jungles, and wildlife for the last few months we are here. I love Singapore.

We met up with some new friends at the Botanic Gardens. We meant to go to the Children's Garden, but I did not know it was closed on Monday, which of course is the day we went. Hashtag momfail. But we still got outside, played with some friends, see turtles sunning themselves, and got to pet them! Henry was delighted.

One of the black swans that inhabits the lake at the Botanic Garden.

I am still training for a marathon. It will happen one day, hopefully this fall. I went on a trail run for the first time here in SG. It was awesome. Saw a turtle on the path, which is unusual since they are water turtles. And of course monkeys.

Met up with a different awesome friend to check out the Art Science Museums new free exhibit, Into the Wild. We had a little tablet that we would look through looking for different animals and plants. In the end we got to plant a seed and watch it grow on the tablet and see all the jungle animals around that the plants support. Really cool. Cosette loved it and has been asking to go back.

Henry lounging watching the forest grow in front of us at the end of the exhibit.

Raphael, so excited to be at the library! They love it when we come.

This cutie and I went to Tanjong Beach on Sentosa with a group of friends. Cosette and Henry were at school, so we got some good mommy and Rapha time in. He and I love our mornings together.

Love my Rapha baby.

Crafting! Cosette is really into arts and crafts. She checked out a Mommy and Me crafting book out at the library and we have been picking out projects and doing them. The first project we did was designing our own t-shirts. We got t-shirts, used masking tape to make our design on them, then painted them with fabric paint.

Cosette did a cat, and Henry did an octopus.

Behold the Rapha "Blur" at the playground.

Girls outing to see an intro to the ballet Coppelia. They explained the story and did a scene from each act. I want to take her to see the whole ballet when it comes out this month. We love it and got to meet the primaries after the show.

True love is when your hubby comes home "early" to go to the Night Safari with you, because you really wanted to go. We met a Binturong named Ted.

Pool days every day.

Another mom came to Cosette's class and did a project with them. The mom's in this class are amazing! They all come in and do different projects with the kids just about every month. Cosette is learning so much from them. This time they made pinwheels.

Thanks Madhuri!

Splash pad playgroup.

And we added a new Totoro to our family. We now the date everyday, because the kids all want to take turns changing the date.
