We Finally Found a Corn Maze

After a year of searching we finally found a corn maze that was worthy and open! Lyndon has been longing to find a good one for a year now. Every time we found one last year it was always closed when we went. My Momma was in town helping us out with the baby, so we decided to take a day trip out of the city. Apple picking was on our fall bucket list so we made a trip back up to Barton Orchards. We have only gone during the week, but on the weekends they have quite the festivities going on. Plus, the corn maze is open on the weekends.

Happy to have found his corn maze at last. Look how big it is!
The corn maze was huge. We could have spent several hours in there. I think it took us 45 minutes which was not long enough for Lyndon. He wanted to get really lost and spend all afternoon trying to get out.

Happy to have Momma there to enjoy an adventure outside the city. New York state is beautiful. I enjoyed showing her how beautiful our state is.

The cutest skeleton around.

The most handsome skeleton.

I am Frankenstein, it is my favorite gothic novel after all.

Tell Charlie Brown we found the "Great Pumpkin".

We found our corn maze! I am not sure why those two are making that face, maybe they are so astonished we finally found one?

Cosette sitting on a bear carving. there were a couple of guys carving all sorts of different statues with saws. We observed them working for a little bit. So fascinating. They are artist! Cosette ran up to this little bear and plopped right down on it. She wanted to take it home. Maybe if we were have a yard sweet heart.

Barton Orchards is awesome! I say that because there were all sorts of fun attractions for everyone. And their produce is amazingly delicious. Cosette loved loved loved jumping in the three bounce houses. She also got to ride on a small train and go down a giant slide. She was one happy girl.

Of course we picked some more apples. We snagged a few empire. We had picked some up at a local farmers market and they were so good. We were craving some more. And we pick a bushel of our favorite Mutsu. We can all proclaim this outing a success!
