Pumpkin Patch Take 1

We made it to several pumpkin patches this year. I think three or four. I have lost count. The first one we went to was the Fruit and Berry Patch in Tennessee. It's such a nice little place with all sorts of fresh produce and this time of year pumpkins!!! They had all the kind of pumpkin. we brought home three, plus the two small pumpkins that came with the tractor ride for the kids. We brought home a Cinderellaa pumpkin, a white pumpkin, and a bumpy one. I was so excited! I had never been to place with so many varieties and sizes. It was awesome. Lyndon is the best, because he jumped off the tractor to get a white pumpkin for me. Ah, I love that man. He would not have gotten it any other way, he likes to live on the edge, literally. He almost fell off the edge of the tractor when he jumped back on. I love him, insert smile face with heart eyes emoji.

We rode a tractor out to the pumpkin patch. Henry was in heaven riding the tractor. After the ride was over we let him do some illegal tractor "driving". He was so excited to sit in the driver's seat. He was not so thrilled about picking out a pumpkin and refused to do anything but play in the rocks at the pumpkin patch. Cosette on the other hand, enjoyed looking at all the different pumpkins and picking out one she liked he best.

We went with a bunch of our friends we get together with whenever we visit Tennessee. They are such a great group of kids and we love coming to see them when we visit. We met another Cosette on the outing! First time ever we have met another person with that name. She and Cosette became fast friends. They are sitting next to each other in this pic.

You can see our bumpy pumpkin behind Henry's cute head.

We also did our first corn maze of the season. It did not meet Lyndon's standards, but it was great for the kids.

He was so happy to "drive" the tractor. I love my Henry.

After we rode the tractor back to the front of the farm the kids got coloring books and apple cider in cute little pumpkin cups! It was a steal of a deal. Happy, happy fall!!!
