Zoo Camp

The big kids went to Zoo Camp this summer at Zoo Knoxville. They were so excited! Henry jumped out of the car at the drop off and did not look back. At pick up on the first day, they were asking me if they could do it again every summer.

Cosette's camp was CSI: Zoo Edition. A lunch box was "stolen" by one of the animals in the zoo. The kids gathered clues through out the week to find out what the animal was. She came home with a new clue in her clue book they were given. I love hearing her different theories about what had happened to the "stolen" lunch. At the end of the week, they found the lunch box in the Peccary's exhibit. She was so excited to tell us all about it.

Henry's camp was Animal Kingdoms. It was learning all about the different type of classes that animals belong to. He came home with art projects everyday and a huge smile on his face.

They had several animal encounters. The one I heard about the most was with the hedge hog. They also rode the camels and the carousel. I think it was one of the best weeks of their lives.

Seriously, living his best life.

The crime scene.

It's a clue!

Camp carrying on our tortoise photo tradition. Love how much my kids love the zoo (Rapha does too)!
