Welcome Back Edward!

Another reason to love NYC is having several major airports close by to which your brother-in-law who you haven't seen in over two years is flying into and has a long layover. Long enough for us to hang out for a few hours before he heads to his final destination. Lyndon's brother Edward was coming home from his two year mission in Cambodia. He had a long layover at JFK so we hopped on the train and went to the airport to hang out with him a little bit. The last time we saw him was December 2012! We didn't even know about Henry at that point.  Cosette was Henry's age when we last saw him which really puts the time into perspective.
We corresponded with him about once a week for most of his time in Cambodia. We picked up post cards every place we visited during our Europe adventures and even on any outing we did around the city and sent to him. We enjoyed having him as our pen pal. And after not seeing family after two years were really excited to see him. It was a wonderful visit. He looked darker and taller. The things you notice after two years. He commented on how white we were, especially the kids, haha. But compared to anyone on the Plothow side me and the kiddos are all super white, haha.
My favorite picture of these two from the outing. Any picture of Henry smiling is my favorite.
Their first time meeting and best buds.
Cosette was running around most of the time so Henry got some good Uncle time in.
Looks like he is in the lead for favorite uncle.
Happy to have you back safe and sound Edward! Good luck to you and all your future endeavors.
