Christmas Eve at Gardens by the Bay

We spent Christmas Eve down at the Winter Wonderland down at the Gardens by the Bay. There were so many cool things there I wish I had taken the kids more than just once. Next year. This year we did as much as we could. It's part of moving and figuring out where and what there is to do in a new place. I'm just glad we made it there. I had three things on my Christmas must do list this year: Gardens down by the Bay, lights on Orchard Road, and the snow bubbles at Tanglin Mall. We checked all three off and are better for it.

It was weird spending Christmas in a place that is not cold. It was really hot that night, like every night. We are getting used to the heat and sweating everywhere we go. It did not really feel like Christmas, but going and doing the Christmas activities helped make it feel merry and bright.
The Sands Hotel. If you google Singapore a picture of a gorgeous infinity pool will probably pop up. It is at the Sands Hotel. It's on the to do list.

Picture of Lyndon's office in the central business district (CBD) from the gardens.
When Lyndon takes the pictures I always find close ups of each of us when I look through them. I like it!

Merry Christmas Eve!

We chekced out the fair grounds area first because the kids were dead set on going on the carousel.

This giant baby sculpture was by the carousel. So random in the garden setting.

Riding the horse!
The whole garden was lite up. It was like walking through a wonderland. At different times of the evening there were light shows. The lights went on and off and music played. It was pretty. The music was Christmas music with music from the movie Frozen thrown in there.

Listening to a excellent choir singing carols.
Raphael's First Christmas!

We wore this kid out.

Singapore Flyer. It's the tallest in the world.
It looks like Boba Fett is part of the picture instead of only being on Lyndon's shirt, haha.
View from Lyndon's office. Not sure why I am making that face.

Looking forward to going back to explore the Gardens some more.
