Ellen in Singapore: Chinatown

Get ready for a ton of sister posts all about Ellen's visit with us. She was here for almost three weeks and we went out and showed her something new just about everyday, no joke. There was one day where we hung out at home by the pool, but that was pretty much our only day off other than Sundays.

Before Christmas we had to get all the Christmas activities crammed in. After Christmas we started touring Singapore. First stop was Chinatown! It's all decked out right now for Chinese New Year. I love Chinese New Year. Not everything was up, but the main thing we went to see was the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. It's a place that I have had on my list and thanks to having a visitor we finally went.

Pikachu came too.

After visiting the temple we went down to food street in Chinatown to eat at the Noodle Man restaurant. This place makes their noodles from scratch and sometimes lets you help. Henry is a big noodle lover. We have a lot of friends who talk about this place and it was fun to finally check it out. I am really going to miss the food here. It is some of the best.

Waiting to watch the noodle making process.
The Noodle Man!
Henry was in heaven. He could eat noodles everyday.

Sisters in Chinatown.
There is a lot to love about SG, and one of the things I love most is all the different neighborhoods to explore. Ellen really enjoyed Chinatown, because she likes that kind of stuff. And we all left with our stomachs full of delicious noodles, soup dumplings, and other delicious foods. And there are super cute rooster decorations everywhere down there. Excited to celebrate the year of the rooster soon.
